The Made to Order with smart personalization brings a touch of the haute couture to its ready-to-wear customers and allows customers to order the outerwear pieces — coats and accessories, straight from the catwalk. Made to Order products is now available at www.burberry.com. The Burberry Smart Personalisation continues Burberry’s digital evolution, and put the customer at the centre of bespoke luxury experiences. The new Runway Made to Order service offers custom-made outerwear and bags, with personalized engraved nameplates. On contact with a touch screen device each piece, chip will activate short films to bring the product to life, telling a story from its creation until the catwalk such as original sketches, runway edits, craftsmanship and personalisation. In addition, customers are able to have their items enabled to trigger their content on large-scale mirrors that will turn instantly to screens at 121 Regent Street, the London flagship. Made to Order products is now available on Burberry.com for delivery in nine weeks.
