Bangkok--22 Apr--Honda Honda to Unveil “Wow” Concept, Supporting the 3-Year Brand CampaignTo Support 3 Football Clubs; The Red Devils, The Reds, and BarcaTo Work with Music Labels to Deliver Unexpected Fun Throughout the Year Honda, the fun lifestyle leader of Thailand’s motorcycle industry, is unveiling its “Wow” concept to strengthen the brand campaign in the final year. To complete its three-year medium-term plan, Honda is delivering the new fun with Honda motorcycle through the marketing events throughout the year. For the sports marketing, Honda has become an official partner with such world-class football clubs as Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC; and support the visit of FC Barcelona to Thailand. For music marketing, the company has cooperated with famous music label and radio station to deliver the musical fun to the young customers. The three brand ambassadors; Na Neck, Opal, and 25Hours will create the big fun and encourage the young customers to get out of their comfort zone and discover the “wow” experience with Honda motorcycle. “After the introduction of three year medium-term plan in 2011, we’ve put our effort to make Honda the leader in product and fun lifestyle. Honda has successfully gained recognition from the young consumers through our message: “Discover Your Fun. Find Something New”. And in 2013, which is the final year of the plan, we are ready to lift our brand to another level. We are delivering a new level of fun to the Thai customers, along with the product launches that come with outstanding designs and technology. We are determined to deliver products that are beyond the expectation, something that will make everyone say “wow”! That was how the third year brand campaign was conceived. “Discover Your Fun. Find Something New… Wow!” said Chiaki Kato, President of AP Honda Co Ltd. “Determined to achieve our goal, we planned to focus more on the marketing events, particularly sports marketing. We became an official partner with such legendary football clubs as Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC, and supporting the visit of FC Barcelona to Thailand. In the near future, we are offering more chances for the Thai football fans to meet the world-class football players. For sports marketing, Honda has cooperated with Believe Record, Fat Radio, and Channel V Thailand to deliver the fun through the music to the younger customers throughout this year. The first concert of the year, “Honda Presents 25Hours Color in Live”, will be held in May,” said Kato. Honda also presents three brand ambassadors; Katesepsawat “Na Neck” Palakawongse Na Ayutthaya, Panisara “Opal” Pimpru, and 25Hours band. The brand ambassadors will represent the brand campaign “Discover Your Fun. Find Something New… Wowww!”, and encourage Thai youth to step out of the box to find new fun in the world. “In the past two years, our brand ambassadors have discovered outside-the-box fun with different models of Honda motorcycles on their own. This year, they are going to share the experience and encourage the Thai youth to discover the “Wow” experience together,” said Kato.
