Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company limited (SSI) held the 24th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders at Thai CC Hall, Thai CC Tower, on 29 April 2012. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Wit Viriyaprapaikit, Chairman of the Board of Director with attendees from SSI’s Board of Directors, Management team, 977 shareholders and proxies. Shareholders certified financial statements and Mr. Win Viriyaprapaikit, Group CEO and President of SSI, reported SSI business result and strategies which aim at innovating Premium Value Products (PVP) and integrating its world-class business to strengthen SSI Group.
Moreover, in order to support local Bangsaphan products and generate income for local enterprises, SSI provided processed food such as conserved pineapple and banana, which were made by a group of housewife from Bangsaphan, as souvenirs to the shareholders.
SSI is the ASEAN’s largest fully-integrated flat steel producer with 4 million tons annual capacity of hot rolled steel sheet in coils (HRC). SSI endeavors to supply premium-grade steel sheets to cater to the region’s growing demand in various sectors such as automobile, energy, transportation and construction sectors.
