Bangkok--22 May--KASIKORNBANK KASIKORNBANK and Krung Thai Bank have been appointed as joint lead arrangers for the Public Offering of The Debentures of CH. Karnchang No. 1/2013, with five-year-and-nine-month tenor. The issue size will be worth up to 4 billion Baht due in 2019, and is available for subscription by retail and institutional investors. Minimum subscription amount is 100,000 Baht, at the multiple of 100,000 Baht. These debentures are unsubordinated and unsecured debentures with debenture holders’ representative. The debentures’ tenor is five-year-and-nine-month with interest payable quarterly at 5 percent per annum. The issuer has the right of early redemption at any interest payment date following the second year of the issuance. Subscription date is scheduled for early June at any branch of KBank or KTB nationwide. CH. Karnchang debentures are interesting investment alternative, with higher-than-deposit interest rates, while the company maintains a good record of debenture repayment and interest payment. Its credit rating has been upgraded by TRIS Rating Co. Ltd. from “BBB” to “BBB+” with “Stable” outlook on February 26, mirroring the company’s improved earnings and its reputation as a leader in Thailand’s engineering and construction industry. CH.
