In responding to some newspapers which have raised questions about the status of Shin Corporation pcl (INTUCH) on MSCI Global Standard Indices, The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) would like to announce that SET has already provided relevant information to MSCI on this matter, and that the general public can obtain information regarding the nationality of shareholders from INTUCH’s shareholder list or check with the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce; or commercial banks which have related cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce.
MSCI has announced that Shin Corporation pcl will not be added to the MSCI Thailand Index, which is a part of the MSCI Global Standard Indices, as part of the May 2013 Semi-Annual Index Review.
