In a bid to continuously provide knowledge support for Thai SMEs, Siam Commercial Bank has organized its third annual "SCB SME: (No) Secret to Success" seminar on the topic of "First Movers Get Richer". The seminar was hosted by famed market and communication guru Dr. Seri Wongmontha.
Speaking about this annual seminar, SCB President Mrs. Kannikar Chalitaporn said that, "Due to positive acceptance over the past two years, SCB has once again organized an "SCB SME: (No) Secret to Success" seminar. This year's seminar is titled "First Movers Get Richer", and focuses on the use of creativity in harvesting continued success, and aims to inspire SME entrepreneurs to adopt tips derived from the seminar to their businesses for their sustainable potential and success. The seminar will discuss first-hand experience of factors contributing to business success from real entrepreneurs, while exchanging views on which effective marketing strategies to adopt."
Organized for three years in a row, this "SCB SME: (No) Secret to Success" seminar on the topic of "First Movers Get Richer" was honored to enjoy the participation of Thailand's most famous marketing and communication guru and three outstanding SME owners. Vorravit Siripark from Panpuri Organic Spa, Atchara Burarak from iberry ice cream, who has entered an arena dominated by foreign brands with local fruit ice cream, and Kobkul von Haartman, who created the Caggioni X-mask series luggage, will reveal their secrets to success and discuss creativity in becoming first movers.
“One of the strategies that SMEs require to sustain their success is having a continually updated business plan. Learning new concepts from successful entrepreneurs will help SMEs develop themselves better and more quickly. This strategy is in line with SCB's priority of providing practical knowledge to SMEs. We hope that this event will help promote the potential of Thai SMEs and enhance the power of creativity among entrepreneurs to help them weather tightening competition amid new opportunities arising in 2013. The strength of Thai SMEs will be a key factor in driving Thailand's economy to sustainable success,” concluded Mrs. Kannikar.
