Asst.Prof.Dr.Pusadee Tamthai, Deputy BMA Governer, presided over the opening ceremony of The Foot Health Clinic for Diabetes patients to celebrate Sirindhorn Hospital’s 11th anniversary. This special clinic renders innovative measurement and insole production service for each individual Diabetes patient advanced NANO technology and production within one hour. This innovative insole,developed by The Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) in cooperation with Sirindhorn Hospital,decreases diabates patients’ risk on feet cutting from peripheral neuropathy and infected feet.Presently Thailand has 2 million diabetes patients and each year lost their feet about 38,000.
