Sport Synthetic Blend API CI-4”, premium quality semi-synthetic diesel engine oil formulated with specialized ISOSYN? Technology providing improved fuel economy savings and higher diesel engine protection with aims to penetrate pick-up truck users segment especially the models equipped with common-rail fuel injection system engines and accommodate the growth of auto industry.
Mr. Chutintorn Pugkhem, Area Business Manager-Thailand, Chevron (Thailand) Limited revealed that the lubricating oil consumption in Thailand has the increasing trend from 2 major factors i.e. the continuous growth of automobile industry especially from the government’s first car policy both in the numbers of personal and commercial vehicles.The commercial vehicle segment posted the highest growth in the market and the pick-up truck producers continued to set a high production target of 2.6 million units this year. Another factor is the promotion of logistics industry development which has the potential to grow higher than the present rate of 4% per annum after the ASEAN Economy Community being in effect.
“The growth of both automobile and logistics industry in Thailand will drive the growth of domestic lubricating oil market worth over 50,000 million baht by 3-4% from the consumption over 520 million litres per year”, said Chutintorn.
As for our business plan for Caltex? Delo? range during the second half of 2013, Chutintorn added, we will introduce the new “Caltex? Delo? Sport Synthetic Blend API CI-4” products range.The new range features premium quality semi-synthetic diesel engine oil formulated withspecialized ISOSYN? Technology which combined premium base oils with selected synthetic base fluid and premium additive to provide higher heat resistance, higher performance, and help prolongs engines’ life.The engine test confirmed the superb performance of Delo?
