Bangkok--3 Jul--Flight of the Gibbon
On June 16, 2013, more than 100 people from 10 local organizations came out to support the Flight of the Gibbon Restoration Project! We had local travel agencies and hotels, students from the Horpra School, students and teachers from the Suksasongkroh School, representatives of The Children and Women Protection Unit of Police Region 5, representatives of the Mae-On Forestry, and members of the Rotary Club of Chiang Mai West all helping our Flight of the Gibbon crews. At the end of the day we had planted 6,000 sapling of fruit trees and other indigenous trees in the area surrounding the Mae On Cave.
