Protected by a faceted and domed sapphire crystal, the silver sunray satinated dial reveals faceted appliques reminiscent of the latticework of the Eiffel tower — an edifice with a strong identity similar to that conveyed by the Commander at Mido, a collection appreciated since its creation in 1959.

Evolving with the times, it has forged a powerful identity over the decades, just like the Commander, which beautifully evokes this bold and legendary construction.
The Mido Commander Leather is fitted with a finely decorated and elaborate automatic movement. With a diameter of 40 mm and water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bar (50 m / 165 ft), it is a perfect combination of Swiss tradition and expertise.
The Commander has been given a new look, but retains the strong character so emblematic of the collection. The round satinated stainless steel case, polished bezel, leather strap and golden-rose touches create a perfect harmony and lend this model a particularly sophisticated look. Graced with golden-rose faceted appliques, the silver sunray satinated dial is protected by a faceted and domed sapphire crystal. The golden?rose hour and minute hands are treated with white Super-LumiNova?, as are the appliques, for easy readability at night.
The Mido Commander Leather is fitted with a brown leather strap. It is also available with an anthracite sunray satinated dial and black leather strap or with a rose PVD-treated steel case, anthracite sunray satinated dial and anthracite leather strap.
