Bangkok--25 Oct--Midas Public Relations
MOKE International thrilled Pattaya tourists with the return of MOKE - a world-famous car from the 60s - at a press briefing held at Pullman Pattaya Hotel G. The designer car turned heads on its first appearance in Thailand, assisted by the honorable presence of Ms. Danielle Peters, the International Representative from MOKE International, Australia.
The newest incarnation of this classic vehicle, after production stopped in 1992, features the same classic look but with modern engineering and construction. All interior and exterior features are designed by internationally acclaimed British designer Michael Young. The new engine is built by Chery, the leading company in hybrid/electric automobiles from China.
When asked why MOKE International chose Thailand for their Pre-Launch of the vehicle, Danielle explained, “The partners of MOKE International have travelled to Thailand often for personal holidays and special occasions and always found the Thai people to be warm, fun and genuine and that is exactly what our brand MOKE is all about. It is a recreational vehicle that is perfect for warm locations full of warm people that like to enjoy life. We believe that the Thai people, tourists and expats will fall in love with this special, fun car. The MOKE makes people smile and so does the hospitality this gorgeous country Thailand has on offer. So let’s start having fun together.”
She also explained that the MOKE audience are those who have a passion for classic cars, love a relaxed beach lifestyle and traveling in style — the wind and sun in their hair. Car rental companies are also a MOKE target for a fun and stylish way for renters to get around beach cities.
After the press briefing, Mrs Peters began the test drive of the MOKE from the hotel towards Central Pattaya Beach which surprised tourists along the way with the outstandingly unique aspects of MOKE. MOKE will be available in Thailand’s automobile market in the beginning of 2014.
