Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Pitak Pruittisarikorn, Chief Operating Officer, received three Car of the Year 2014 Awards at the 35th Bangkok International Motor Show. This year, the three accolades were all presented to Honda alternative fuel automobiles. The award-winning Honda models were the Honda Civic Hybrid, winner of the Best Sedan Under 1,800 cc. - Hybrid Award; the Honda Jazz Hybrid, named the Best Sedan 1,600 cc. - Hybrid Award; and the Honda City CNG, winning the top honor as the Best Sedan Under 1,500 cc. – CNG Award.
Honda’s achievement of three Thailand Car of the Year 2014 awards clearly affirms the company’s commitment to developing quality and environmentally-friendly automobiles that best suit modern lifestyles and satisfy the new generation of consumers who look for alternative cars that offer high performance and best value-for-money. The Thailand Car of the Year 2014 awards were selected by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Thailand, Thai Automotive Journalists Association, and Grand Prix International Co., Ltd., which work together and conduct automobile tests annually with an aim to develop and upgrade Thai automotive industry standards.
