Maduzi Restaurant by Yuya launched Tea Time at Maduzi from 14:00 to17:00 this September. The executive chef Yuya Okuda created a special selection of Chef’s Dessert for the lunch guests, and now it is available at Tea Time at Maduzi at 350 THB++ including coffee, latte, cappuccino or a selection of tea.
The dessert selection highlights the taste of autumn, including Home-made pear compote and almond tart, Crème brûlée with earl gray tea and calvados, and Kyoto Uji Green Tea Cake Roulade (50THB additional charge for Green Tea Cake) in addition to Organic Strawberry Soup and Classic Fondant Chocolat.
The pear tart is recommended for sweets lovers who love the rich sweetness of ripe fruits, while the crème brûlée is light and fragrant in a mouth with bergamot and calvados. The green tea cake is Chef’s specialty in which Chef did not compromise on the ingredients. Uji, where Chef sourced his matcha green tea, is the city in Kyoto which has celebrated the culture of green tea for almost a thousand years. Tanba black bean is one of the premium black beans in Japan and known for its sweet taste and large glossy appearance. Accented by Japanese chestnuts, this could be the most delicious green tea cake in town.
The Chef’s Dessert Selection is also offered in the 4-course lunch at 550THB++, which comes with two hour d’oeuvres, the main selection, and the dessert selection including coffee or tea. Advanced reservation is highly recommended. Maduzi Restaurant by Yuya is open from Monday to Saturday.
