Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok invites guests to celebrate all things Aussie with an “In the Land Down Under – Australian Week” promotion for dinner by the hotel’s Australian executive chef, Matthew Bennink at NEXT2 Café from 25 January to 1 February 2015.
Diners can find themselves at the heart of Australian culture and cuisine with a fantastic range of yummy and rare Aussie delights cooked Bush Tucker style, as well as savour modern Australian cuisine that would be sure to leave them hungry for more. Highlighted items during the eight-day special food promotion include imported succulent meats, such as beef, lamb, emu, and Venison and fresh seafood, such as Tasmanian salmon, ocean trout, South Australian kingfish and Oysters. The “In the Land Down Under – Australian Week” costs 2,200 baht net per person for food and 800 baht net per person for beverage package, which includes Australian wines, local draught beers and soft drinks.
On Sunday, 25 January 2015, diners can delight their taste buds with sumptuous Barbecued Brunch featuring an expansive selection of Australian specialties and flavourful meat pies, house made sausages, cured and smoked meats and other authentic desserts in preparation for the Australian National Day on the following day. The Barbecued Brunch is priced at 1,850 baht net per person for food and 800 baht net per person for beverage package, which includes Australian wines, local draught beers and soft drinks.
Very Special: Diners holding an Aussie Passport or an Entry Stamp on their Passport to Australia can enjoy the Barbecued Brunch for only 1,500 baht net per person for food and 500 net per person for the beverage package.
