The Restaurant at Anantara Chiang Mai Resort & Spa has refreshed its “7 Night Dining Specials”, available from 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
Weekdays offer mouthwatering treats beginning with Monday’s Indian Curry Night, which showcases the unique masterpieces of the resort’s Indian Executive Chef, with butter chicken masala, Kerala prawn curry and aloo gobi served alongside saffron basmati rice and tandoor oven naan breads for THB 700++ per person.
Tuesday’s Char Grilled Skewers spoil meat lovers with teriyaki marinated Wagyu beef, chili lemon garlic marinated organic chicken, peppered black Angus beef tenderloin, herb and paprika marinated New Zealand lamb chops, honey marinated pork loin and Chiang Mai sausage, served with sauces and a melted brie and truffle baked potato for THB 850++ per person.
The Wednesday Thai Seafood BBQ Platter is laden with char grilled river prawn, grilled squid marinated in miso curry, seared scallops with ginger and chili butter and spice marinated tub tim fish grilled in a banana leaf, as well as deep fried fish cake with pickle, crab cake on lemongrass and green lip mussels with Thai basil, served with steamed aromatic jasmine rice and Asian sauces, priced at THB 800++ per person.
Thursday is an All You Can Eat Indian Kebabs affair, serving limitless orders of minced lamb sheek, murgh tikka chicken, murgh malai chicken, machi hariyali and machi tikka sea bass fillets with saffron rice, papadums, homemade dips and naans for THB 850++ per person.
Friday’s Whole Fish Feast is prepared in a choice of western and Asian flavours and cooking styles, accompanied by a selection of side dishes for THB 750++ per person.
The “7 Night Dining Specials” continue over the weekend with the Saturday Butcher Shop offering a New Zealand medium grain fed black Angus tenderloin, priced by weight starting from THB 850++ per person, to be cooked to each guest’s liking and served with a choice of sauces and side dishes, with the indulgent option of adding two grilled tiger prawns for THB 160++ and seared foie gras for THB 180++.
Rounding off the nightly highlights, the Sunday Chilled Seafood Platter boasts a lavish selection of ocean treasures in poached, raw and marinated styles with delicious condiments for THB 1,200++ per person for a main or for two to share as an appetiser.
While a daily happy hour special of two drinks for the price of one from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and three tapas dishes for the price of two from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, makes evening riverside relaxation even more rewarding.
