“The Bangkok International Motor Show is classified in the ‘A-Plus’ ranking, which equivalent to other world class motor shows. The pavilion of each car and bike company is exclusively designed by the head quarter. Materials used and the way each booth is being constructed are of the same concept and are imported from overseas. Many companies had invested far more than 80 million Baht for construction, magnificently decorated and designed so it can be said that these pavilions are like a mini grand theatre. Every company is well understood and recognize how important and powerful the BIMS is.”
“A huge amount of money invested into constructions and amazing presentations within just only 14 days is an icon of proof that the Bangkok International Motor Show is a true automotive show in which all associated automotive companies recognize how important the show is.” The overall budget spent for construction and decoration at the show is a wow figure at more than 10,000 million Baht.
Mr. Jaturont concluded with Thailand auto market trend that “The automotive market in 2015 is now recovered to its normal conditions after a big leap in growth rate derived from the first car campaign during 2012-2013. Various environmental factors remained relatively well. The political situation is steady. The overall economy is being recovered plus other factors, for example consumers’ confidence and purchasing power that accumulated from the previous year, as a consensus some consumers may start looking for their first car while it may be the time for others to look for a new car to replace their old one. So the Bangkok International Motor Show is held at the very right timing because a lot of new car models will be launched at the show, and for these reasons the overall auto market situation should be in a positive direction.”
