Bangkok--22 Mar--Ripple Effect
Mr. Hidenori Matsuura, General Manager of Epicureans, a company of notable gastronomy connoisseurs specialized in importing world-class food brands, held a pre-opening event to celebrate the first Maison Eric Kayser in Thailand at Thonglor between Soi 3 and Soi 5. The event brought together Bangkok’s high profile public figures from various circles.
Mr. Eric Kayser, born in Alsace in the east of France, is not only a world master baker, but also an inventor of the Fermentolevain, a food book writer and trainer at the French National Institute of Baking and Patisserie. His famous quote “Good bread doesn’t lie.” best describes his philosophy. He has built his reputation as a master baker on making authentic artisanal French breads made from natural liquid leaven and other baked products since opening his first boulangerie in Paris in 1996. Today there are more than 110 Maison Eric Kayser bakeries in over 23 countries.
The first Maison Eric Kayser in Thailand will open at Thonglor between Soi 3 and Soi 5 in Bangkok to pamper the palates of Bangkok food connoisseurs with a wide array of his famous baked products including his signature “Baguette Monge” - much loved by a celebrity clientele worldwide and his croissants voted the most delicious in Paris, Tokyo, New York and Singapore.
This exclusive gourmet launch is a collaboration of world class brands - Maison Eric Kayser and Epicureans, a company owned and run by Thai and top foreign connoisseurs with the shared mission of bringing the “Nothing but the Best” food experience from around the world to Thailand. Maison Eric Kayser is the first brand to kick off and the launch plan for the next world-class brands is now under way.
