Mr. Morikazu Chokki, President & CEO of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MMTh) announced the highest monthly export volume recorded at 37,062 units (CBU) in March 2015. MMTh, as the most important production hub and worldwide export based of Mitsubishi Motors Group, has achieved this milestone with global standard and high quality products.“Since 1988, Mitsubishi Motors decided to invest in vehicle production plant in Thailand and became the first automaker that export Thai-made vehicle worldwide, by exporting Lancer Champ 420 units to Canada. In March 2015, we have marked the highest record monthly export volume of 37,062 units (CBU). For 28 years, MMTh has exported Mitsubishi vehicles to more than 150 countries worldwide, the production standard and Thai technician skills have been accepted and trusted. At present, we have 3 production plants and 1 engine plant in Leam Chabang Industrial Estate, which are the most important operation and production hub outside Japan with 510,000 units maximum capacity annually. All of our achievements owe to the full contribution and dedication of our wonderful employees.” said Mr. Chokki
Mitsubishi Motors has started exporting The All New Triton, its 5th Generation Pickup truck, to markets worldwide, as one of the Mitsubishi key models, besides PPV and Eco car which produced by Mitsubishi Motors Thailand. Our export destinations are ASEAN countries, North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Australia and Latin America.
