THAI Smile Airways and Counter Service today announced a business partnership, allowing customers to easily buy and pay THAI Smile Airways tickets through shops with Counter Service sign and 7-Eleven convenient stores nationwide, effective from today. To celebrate the new cooperation, THAI Smile Airways offers special fare starting from 990 baht/trip (net) when customers buy tickets at Counter Service and 7-Eleven. The promotion is effective from 22 - 30 April 2015 and travel from 6 May - 24 October 2015.
Mr. Chalongchai Hiranyalekha, Chief Commercial Advisor, THAI Smile Airways Co., Ltd., said that as a “Light Premium” airline, THAI Smile designed and offered the right products and services that address customers’ demand in short-haul flight services. With this commitment, the airline has partnered with Counter Service Co., Ltd., the leader in payment service, to offer enhanced services through “24-hour ticket booking and payment” through service shops with Counter Service sign and 7-Eleven convenient stores nationwide. The service would increase convenience for Thai and foreign passengers who wish to book a seat on THAI Smile Airways flights.
Under the partnership, passengers will be provided with two easy ways to book and pay for air tickets. Option 1: passengers can book a seat via www.thaismileair.com and then print out the barcode to pay at any shop with Counter Service and 7-Eleven stores within the required period. The payment slip received from Counter Service will be used as e-ticket for checking in at the airport. Option 2: passengers can simply go to Counter Service and 7-Eleven stores by directly booking the flight and making payment without online booking. Payment can be made in cash, providing more convenience for passengers who have no credit card or prefer cash payment. Slip received from Counter Service also serves as e-ticket for check in. After the payment, Counter Service will send SMS to confirm air ticket purchase directly to the passengers via their mobile phone.
THAI Smile Airways also offers specific promotion fares for passengers booking and payment for the tickets at shops with Counter Service sign and 7-Eleven convenient stores. Under this promotion, price starts from 990 baht/trip (net). Passengers can make booking from 22 – 30 April 2015 for departure from 6 May – 24 October 2015. Airfares for Khon Kaen, Udon Thani and Ubon Ratchathani routes start from 990 baht/ trip; Chiang Rai and Surat Thani starts from 1,090 baht/trip; Chiang Mai, Hat Yai and Phuket starts from 1,190 baht/trip; Narathiwas starts from 1,390 baht/trip and Chiang Mai-Phuket starts at 1,690 baht/trip. These promotion fares are offered on limited number seats and can be booked only at shops with Counter Service sign and 7-Eleven convenient stores nationwide.
THAI Smile Airways currently offers two classes of services: Smile Plus and Smile Class. It serves food and drinks throughout the flight in all classes, allows passengers to reserve and choose seat in advance without extra charge, allows up to 20-30 kilograms baggage depending on class and provides a VIP lounge for Smile Plus Platinum and Gold members. THAI Smile Airways passengers could also collect mileage to redeem prize under Royal Orchid Plus program (ROP) by THAI Airways. Other additional services include travel insurance, bus and boat service booking, etc. At present, THAI Smile Airways operates in 9 domestic destinations, including Chiang Mai, Phuket, Khon Kaen, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Surat Thani, and Narathiwas. Macau is the international destination. The airline operates to and from Don Mueang Interntional Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport. Passengers travelling to chiang Mai, Phuket and Khon Kaen can use the services at both airports while other services are available to facilitate passengers at Suvarnabhumi Airport. This is to offer larger choices and convenience for passengers. In addition, in 2015, THAI Smile Airways plans to expand its fleet to support its service coverage expansion, especially in the international routes including Rangoon and Mandalay. Flight frequency in the existing routes and service will be increased.
