Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (BSCAP), represented by Mr Shinichi Hanashi, Chief Executive Officer of BSCAP, attended the Toyota Motors Asia Pacific Engineering and Manufacturing Annual Supplier Conference on 24 March 2015. Held at the Berkeley Hotel Pratunam in Bangkok, Thailand, the Conference was attended by top management from Toyota’s suppliers in the Asia Pacific region. At the Conference, BSCAP received the 2014 Regional Supplier Overall Outstanding Performance Award from Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
The award recognises Bridgestone’s contribution as a key supplier towards Toyota’s operations in the Asia Pacific region, in the aspects of safety, quality, cost, delivery, engineering and management. The award was presented by Mr Hisayuki Inoue, President of Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to Mr Hanashi.“Bridgestone is honoured to receive this distinguished award.
