La Vue (25 floor) of Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok, the first boutique design hotel in Bangkok, will “Unleash your Imagination” in yet another exclusive Art Dinner -- this time featuring special guest Chef Jonay Armas, a Spanish 2-Star Michelin Chef from Principal in Hong Kong. You have two days only (August 7-8) to experience and enjoy his exquisite 7-course dinner.
Chef Jonay, who honed his more than 10-year experience and culinary craft in some of Spain's leading Michelin-starred restaurants, will take the hotel’s symbolic Giant into its first culinary journey around the region, aptly titled, “Journey of the Giant.”? Inspired by the diversity, range, and versatility of Asian ingredients, Chef Jonay creates divine specialties that also showcase the finesse of his very European culinary experiences and techniques.
The dinner starts with “Snack”: tapioca, eel mousse, smoked quail egg, cauliflower Togarashi, and cocktail ball; “Uni”: uni pannacota, crispy quinoa, oscietre caviar, and samphire seaweed; “Crab”: flower crab, mustard and chive dressing, leek consommé, and radish: “Foie”: shaved foie terrine with crispy corn and peach; “63°”: onsen egg, pork trotter stew with chorizo and bell pepper broth; “Cod”: Indonesian sambal marinated cod, smoked coconut soup, crispy tofu, and pickled shimeji; and “Wagyu": grilled wagyu sirloin, burnt onion, watercress emulsion, and roasted Jerusalem artichoke. A not-to-be-missed culinary journey for all discerning foodies, indeed!?
The dinner is priced at THB 3,500 net per person (food only) or THB 4,700 net per person with wine pairing. It starts at 6.30 p.m. onwards.
