TPARK is entering the rental warehouses market in the Northeastern Region of Thailand with the launch of TPARK Khon Kaen. The 400 million-Baht first phase, spanning 10,000 square meters of leasable space on a 180-rai land plot, has been developed to function as a hub for modern trade, consumer goods, and logistics service providers – all of which are high-growth business sectors in the region. The company is confident of a positive reception in the long term.
Mr. Patan Somburanasin, Managing Director of TICON Logistics Park (TPARK), Thailand's leading provider of high-quality rental warehouses, revealed that the first phase of TPARK Khon Kaen is now completed and ready to support the growth of various business sectors in the Northeastern Region.
The entire TPARK Khon Kaen development covers a land area of 180 rai and is capable of supporting 140,000 square meters of leasable warehouse space in total. The first phase offers 10,000 square meters of space in total, divided into units from 630 to 840 square meters in size, to target customers operating in the consumer goods, modern trade, and logistics services sectors. A high-performance, ready-built logistics warehouse and distribution center supported by exceptional infrastructure is in high demand among these fast-growing sectors as they seek to achieve excellence in cost management and efficient product distribution.
"Khon Kaen is a province with very high potential for development and an excellent investment destination, thanks to its status as the main hub of the region. TPARK Khon Kaen is located on Mittraphap 2 Road, which puts it just ten kilometers away from the province's Mueang district and provides direct access to Nakhon Ratchasima province. This is the strategic location for distributing products into 19 northeastern provinces as well as other countries along the Indochina region's East-West Economic Corridor – a strategically-significant area for economic growth in the ASEAN Economic Community era."
"Multiple customers have already expressed interest in visiting TPARK Khon Kaen – a fact that reaffirms TPARK's commitment to the Northeastern Region's economic potential. While Thailand remains afflicted by domestic and international economic slowdowns, the company is confident that this strategic investment will yield long-term positive results – especially once the Thailand-China railway project is completed. Large businesses, especially those in the consumer goods industry, will be able to grow and fulfill the demand of over 18 million people in the Northeast, and this in turn will lead to growth for the rental warehouse market here." Mr. Patan concluded.
