Shang Palace at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok invites guests to take "The Zest of Qingdao", a culinary journey of savouring Qingdao specialities prepared by Guest Chef Cao Wanzhou, starting today until 15 November 2015.
Seafood is a typical delicacy of this coastal city and Chef Cao Wanzhou from Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao brings together his deep passion for food and exceptional skills in Qingdao cuisine to please diners with his unique flavours and eye-catching presentations. His specialty dishes include the best seller – Boiled Live Soon Hock Fish Vegetables and signature dishes, such as Roasted Duck with Chrysanthemum and Mango Sauce, Braised Rice and Dumplings with Goose Liver and Shrimp, and Braised "Dong Po" Pork with Abalone. Prices range from 260 to 480 baht++ per dish.
A native of Fujian Province, Chef Cao has more than 20 years of culinary experience gained at famous restaurants and hotels in many cities in China. He first joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts at Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou in 2006.
