The Ascott Limited (Thailand) has recently invites its supporting corporate clients, The Link Club members to join the art of sushi-making workshop held at Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor Bangkok, one of the most stylish serviced residences in Bangkok operated by The Ascott Limited.
Sushi is one of the most popular dishes among the Japanese and has gained its outside Japan. During the Edo period, "Sushi" referred to pickled fish preserved in vinegar. Nowadays "Sushi" can be defined as a Japanese food consists of cooked vinegared rice combined with other ingredients. There are many different types of Sushi, some popular ones are Nigiri, Gunkan, Norimaki and Temaki.
Taught by a professional chef and her skilled team from Nana Cooking. In this workshop each member has the chance to roll four pieces of Nigiri and one type of Norimaki (California roll). The chef also shared her secret recipe on how to cook the perfect vinegared rice, which is the heart of Sushi for members to try themselves. At the end of the event everyone took back a box of their own yummy Sushi home to share with their family!
