To commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's 84th birthday anniversary, Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok will participate in the "Princess-Pa-Foundation for Riceberry Organic Project" by offering special riceberry menus at Chocolate Boutique from 8 to 14 August 2016.
During the same period, guests can also enjoy the hotel's riceberry creations from Shang Palace, Salathip, NEXT2 Cafe, and Chocolate Boutique at the "Princess-Pa-Foundation for Riceberry Organic Project" organised by the Friends in Need (of "PA") Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society at Siam Paragon.
Riceberry contains a high level of antioxidants and it has an outstanding aromatic fragrant when cooked. Realising these tremendous nutritional benefits, the hotel's Executive Chef Marc Cibrowius and his culinary team delicately created innovative and colourful dishes using riceberry as the main ingredient, in addition to other high quality local and imported produce.
Guests can discover great benefits from the Steamed Riceberry Sweet Cream Buns and Shang Palace Steamed Riceberry with Crab from Shang Palace kitchen or the Fried Rice with Shrimp Paste and Thai Mackerel and the Thai Fried Rice with Hot Chilli Sauce and Sweet Pork from Salathip kitchen. Guests who have passion for Indian cuisine can opt for NEXT2 Cafe's Riceberry Biryani, Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken and Mushroom Kofta Curry.
Meanwhile, guests visiting Chocolate Boutique may satisfy their sweet tooth with Riceberry Chocolate Bar, Riceberry Pralines, and Riceberry Sandwiches.
