Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, has opened its fourth Cromax® Color Center in Thailand. Located in the country's northern Chiang Mai province, the latest center has been established in collaboration with Northern Car Paint Co., Ltd., Axalta's key distributor of Cromax brand refinish products in Thailand. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Narong Kongprasert, President of the Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce, Mr.Marut Pinitwattana, Managing Director, Northern Car Paint Co, Ltd. and Axalta's Marketing Manager Mr.Montri Kampo
The Cromax Color Center includes a Color Technology Center, a full range of Cromax product lines and a mixing machine for Cromax. The Color Technology Center offers customers the latest automated color-matching technology the Acquire Plus EFX™, our leading edge digital spectrophotometer. The Acquire Plus EFX is an advanced, hand-held spectrophotometer designed to enable refinish technicians achieve the most accurate color match possible - even for complicated metallic, pearl and effect colors — faster and more easily than ever before. It offers many advantages over current "camera" technology. Using advanced optic technology, the Acquire Plus EFX looks deep into the paint film to acquire the flake and color characteristics that are the keys to determining the best color match. The Center will also provide body shops in North Thailand with easy access to Axalta's comprehensive range of high quality automotive refinish products from Cromax, including putties, primers and clearcoats so that consumers can be assured of superior quality repair work on their vehicles.

The Cromax family of refinish products is one of Axalta's premium automotive refinish coating brands. The Center in Chiang Mai is the fourth Cromax Center in Thailand. The other three are located in Udonthani in the northeast region, Nakhonsawan in the lower north region, and Chiang Rai in the upper north region.
