Messe Dusseldorf, one of the world's most successful trade fair organizers, is set to present interpack 2017 – a tri-annual processes and packaging trade fair where industry professionals from all over the world, including Thailand, will learn all about the industry's innovative technologies from manufacturers and suppliers worldwide. For this, Messe Düsseldorf has organized a preview presentation for interpack in Bangkok on 15 September 2016, to introduce the trade fair and all it offers.

With this in mind, Messe Düsseldorf will hold a preview presentation for interpack in Bangkok on 15 September 2016, so as to present and introduce the dynamics and advantages of this important trade fair, while updating and sharing the latest trends of processes and packaging industry, including a range of related industry sectors.
The Department of Industry Promotion (DIP) has stated that Thailand's packaging industry continues to grow by 3-4% every year, or 385 billion baht, and the export growth is around 54 billion baht per year, with market value expected to be over 400 billion baht in 2016.
Mr. Noppadol Krairiksh, President of the Thai Packaging Industry Association said, "We are seeing a strong growth in the printing and packaging industry in Thailand, as well as the growing competitiveness of the global market. The world renowned interpack processes and packaging trade fair is held every three years in Dusseldorf, Germany. interpack 2017 will take place between 4–10 May 2017, where the spotlight will be on; Industry 4.0 - a special show presenting examples of applications in the packaging machine and process technology sector that open up new opportunities in regards to safety, traceability, copy and piracy protection, and individualized packaging; and Innovationparc - another special show that will present packaging strategies and solutions that can help to reduce food loss and wastage, from the winners of the national competition for the SAVE FOOD Packaging Awards of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), as well as the third international SAVE FOOD Congress, with the participation of its partner institutions: the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP).
The last interpack trade fair, interpack 2014 had more than 2,670 exhibitors from 60 countries and drew 174,798 visitors from 163 countries. No other packaging industry trade fair provides all industry sectors with such an array of tailored solutions and innovative designs, making interpack 2017 unique and sure to be an even greater success than the previous interpack.
