Bangkok--3 Nov--Brand Now Asia App introduces go-shop service to customers, top-up bonus for corporate clients and cheaper multi-drops Hong Kong based on-demand delivery app Lalamove is redefining last mile deliveries in the city by expanding its service features for its second birthday this November. From this month onwards, customers can enjoy a new shopping service, easy top-up credit scheme for corporate clients and a price drop in multi-drops service fees. With the beta phase of Purchase Service, customers can ask drivers to shop for items up to a value of 1,000 THB and customers simply reimburse the driver on cost of the item plus delivery charge. For customers lacking the time or energy to pick up simple or last-minute purchases, such as clothes, stationaries, gifts or cosmetics, the newly launched Purchase Service will prove to be the perfect personal assistant. Santit Jirawongkraisorn, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lalamove Thailand reveals that this new service was inspired by Bangkok customers. "At Lalamove, we have a strong value system of providing a consistently reliable service that our customers can trust, as well as services our customers want. The newly launched Purchase Service fits with the demands of our busy customers in Bangkok, where shopping assistance for relatively low-cost items is invaluable. Our customers may not want or be able to drop what they are doing to venture across the city, but we can. That is what we do. Developing this service makes sense within the culture and climate of Bangkok for both our domestic and corporate customers. At Lalamove we understand customers' demands and deliver on our commitment to them." With Bangkok becoming an increasing hive of delivery demands and activity, Lalamove has also dropped its multi-drops delivery fee for motorcycle of 40 THB to just 25 THB. The permanent reduction of 37% reflects the growing number of orders with pickups and deliveries that go beyond going from A to B; promising cost-attractive deliveries for this growing market. Also, as part of the second anniversary, Lalamove is introducing a new top-up bonus to replace the existing prepaid cashback for corporate clients. Customers will get 6- 8% bonus on top every time when refilling their wallet, they will now be afforded a payment structure that gives them greater flexibility. Lalamove's developments are aligned with its growth in funding which stands at about 30 million USD. In May 2016, Lalamove secured a 10 million USD cash injection with third-round funding from their existing funders and a Thai investor, Asia Plus Group Holdings. At the core of Lalamove is expansion without compromising efficiency and service quality which ultimately delivers its future success. Lalamove continues to grow every year to deliver convenience to different cities in the region. In 2015, the application was introduced to more than 11 new cities and 13 more cities in 2016. The expansion will definitely continue in this coming 2017. The number of registered users of Lalamove regionally has grown to 660,000 and the app has been downloaded more than half a million times in the past year. In Thailand, Lalamove is the largest on-demand delivery service with the number of download is currently 100,000 with over 10 thousands of registered drivers.
