Makro, the complete & high quality center of raw materials and food ingredients reaffirm its power as a one-stop leader in the wholesaler industry by emphasizing its brand's principle, "Your Trusted Partner in Your Professional Business" through a massive support for the HoReCa business operators, this time with a step forward, hosting its Annual Grand Festival of the year, 11th Makro HoReCa" under the theme of "HoReCa Business Solution". Scheduled for 23-26 March 2017 from 10am until 7pm at Hall 2-3, Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, the festival features a complete business solution from business know-how, technology and innovation to food products, cooking ingredients and tools for HoReCa business operators. One of the highlighted activities in the festival is the "11th Makro HoReCa Challenge", an exciting culinary competition that combines talented top chefs from all over Thailand to compete in cooking skills for a chance to win a royal trophy from HRH Princess Soamsawali and a prize worth 600,000 Baht. The cooking competition is supported and endorsed by the World Association of Chefs Societies to reinforce the international standards to ensure that Thai Chefs can step forward confidently on to the international competition platform. This year, the festival expects 50,000 attendees.

This year, the 11th Makro HoReCa" is scheduled from Thursday 23rd March until Sunday 26th March 2017, 10am until 7pm at Hall 2-3 Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani under the theme of "HoReCa Business Solution" across the space of over 10,000 Square Meters with a budget of 30 million Baht. Meet our participated business alliances such as Charoen Pokphand Foods, Nestle (Thai), Thai Namthip Company Limited, PFP Group, leading participators in public and private sectors who will show case their products as well as over 60 beneficial activities for the attendees.
Mrs. Uea-Angkun Tanvisut, Chairperson of Makro HoReCa 2016 states that Makro will be sharing their gathered know-how, knowledge, wisdom and tips to run a successful food industry businesses along with new idea to boost the income as well as ways to improve the current business to ensure a sustainable growth at this event. Over 300 stores from direct suppliers are sharing their food products, innovations and useful tools to delight HoReCa business operators in all aspects, this year the inspiration to create a one-stop solution to improve the standard of businesses in food industry on a distinctive platform of 10,000 Square Meters with immense hope to bring the best benefits to the participants and attendees.

2. Competition in decorating cakes (Freestyle) and hot desserts menu (Freestyle)
3. "Makro Mystery Box" Competition, Freestyle Menu in decorating the plate western style on the individual level (Youth Level)
4. "Makro Mystery Box" Competition, Freestyle Menu in decorating the plate western style on the individual level (Professional Level)
This is the first time that the "Makro HoReCa Challenge is being supported and endorsed by the World Association of Chefs Societies implementing international standards to to ensure that Thai Chefs can step forward confidently on to the international competition platform, the winner from this competition will represent Thailand in the world's renowned cooking competition at the FHA (Food & Hotel Asia) in Singapore.
