Bangkok--27 Nov--Museflower Retreat & Spa Museflower Retreat & Spa (www.musefloweretreat.com) continues to strengthen Chiang Rai's wellness destination profile with a slew of unique new holistic healing teachings and workshops at another successful Museflower Life Festival, which was held in October 2017. Celebrating knowledge, education, and awareness about holistic and emotional wellness and green living practices, Museflower Retreat & Spa welcomed guests and participants at its peaceful lakeside location featuring its own onsite organic farm and Thailand's first Himalayan crystal salt swimming pool. The weekend wellness festival offered workshops, fitness classes, free and discounted health counseling sessions, alternative therapies, spa treatments, nutritious vegetarian buffets, gifts and prizes, with the aim to share knowledge and inspire people to learn more about holistic and emotional wellbeing. Different types of wellness classes were taught by various teachers and practitioners, both Museflower staff and visiting teachers from overseas. "The event celebrated our third year anniversary in fullfilling its aim to share knowledge and education about different types of holistic healing modalities, all at a very affordable price", says Tania Ho, Museflower Retreat & Spa's founder, owner, and resident holistic practitioner. Some of the unusual holistic modalities that guests discovered at this year's Life Festival were: shamanic journey experiences, soul writing, Qi Gong, inner dance, trauma release exercises, journey dance, Tibetan singing bowl sound healing, and Mandala creation. Festival participants came from overseas, around Thailand, and the local community, and included repeat guests from previous years. Guests came with personal goals and intentions, such as the desire to learn "self-care and to share my skills", said visiting American yoga teacher Tammy Hayano,Twanya from Bangkok said, "I wanted to spend some quality time with my mother, doing something we thought was valuable and we both loved." For repeat guest Kate from UK, it was a chance "to revisit the spiritual empowerment which I had experienced from last year's Museflower Life Festival". Bangkok guest Seesa-ang said she enjoyed the opportunity "to connect to like-minded beings and to learn and to share my own experience in some ways." A key take-out of the festival was that participants learned new techniques that they could adapt into their daily self-care routine at home, like writing meditation, trauma releasing exercises, knowledge about food and new health habits that help improve their daily life. Learning and connecting to people in a community of like-minded people was one of the most valuable experiences that the Life Festival provided for participants. Says Twanya, "When we all really connected for the first time in class, we felt a sense of family." The Museflower Life Festival will be held again next year in early October 2018 , with a lineup of more new holistic and emotional healing workshops, classes, talks, and prizes.
