The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under Ministry of Commerce held the Networking Reception at SIGGRAPH Asia on 28 November 2017 at BITEC, Bangna, Bangkok. The event received excellent response from Thailand's five leading digital contents associations (BASA, TACGA, DCAT, TGA and E-LAT).
Mrs. Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, delivered the opening remark to welcome over 800 digital content entrepreneurs from countries and regions worldwide namely USA, France, India, mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, including related parties. The purpose of this event was to form a trading network among Thai and foreign entrepreneurs working within digital contents industry.
Apart from building and expanding network of cooperation among Thai and foreign digital content entrepreneurs, this Networking Reception is also focused on promoting business partnerships through various trade negotiation activities held at Thailand Pavilion to enable business contacts and negotiations between Thai and foreign digital content entrepreneurs in hope to diversify both communication and marketing channels, promote further project developments toward achieving international level standard and creatively drive economic value added under Thailand 4.0 policy. Most importantly, this reflects not only the potential and readiness of Thai entrepreneurs in entering the global market but also reflects the good image of Thai entrepreneur, which in turn creates value in terms of trade negotiation, trade partnership and joint investment possibilities in the future.
