Love strikes twice at L'Appart in February - the month of love. The popular rooftop restaurant and bar at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit is hosting two Valentine's events designed to appeal to a broad range of local and ex-pat residents in every age group.
On Friday 9 February, L'Appart welcomes singles and couples to a special 'Black Valentines Rooftop Party' where groups of five and more ladies enjoy a bottle of complimentary bubbly. Reservations are essential but there is no cover charge. DJ Yui will be spinning tunes throughout the evening and the party, with a dress code of black and red, runs from 9.00 pm until late.

On Wednesday 14 February L'Appart presents a compelling combination of style, ambience, atmosphere and fine cuisine with a special Valentine's Day 'sharing dinner' set menu created by talented chef Nicolas Basset and priced sensibly at THB 5,000++ for two persons.
The evening begins with 'bubbles and bites' featuring delicious canapes, followed by ?ra king smoked salmon served with heirloom beetroot, watercress and quinoa, and then foie gras 'two ways' with rhubarb and pistachio. The main course is Brittany blue lobster thermidor. This romantic Valentine's dinner for two concludes, naturally, with a Valrhona chocolate fondue, salted caramel and petite brochettes.
L'Appart's resident Sommelier Peter Evenwill assist couples with wine selections. The restaurant has an extensive wine cellar featuring new and old world labels.
Hotel General Manager Oliver Schnatz is keen to attract a broad cross-section of age groups and nationalities to L'Appart. "The romantic setting of L'Appart, with its cosy atmosphere and stunning rooftop city views, is perfect for this year's Valentine's celebrations," he said.
