During 15 to 18 February 2018, Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok welcomes Chinese New Year with sumptuous food choices at its authentic Chinese restaurant, Shang Palace.
Chinese Executive Chef Chow Wai Man will delight guests with decadent set menus featuring auspicious dishes to give guests' family blossoming Chinese New Year. The Prosperity Set is priced at Bt 25,888 net and the Longevity Set is priced at Bt 29,888 net. Both sets are available for a table of 10 guests.
Chef Chow also created "Lo Hei" or "yusheng", a raw fish salad dish consisting of a variety of high-quality nutritional ingredients, such as salmon, daikon, carrot, jellyfish, pomelo, peanuts, roasted sesame seeds, shrimp crackers and five spices powder. The original taste of salmon will be enhanced by a special sauce using rice vinegar, plum sauce and kumquat.

Additionally, an exuberant performance by dragon and lion dancers is scheduled on Friday, 16 February 2018 at 10:15 a.m. at the main entrance of the hotel's Shangri-La Wing. This traditional lion dance ceremony is believed to bring in good luck, prosperity and happiness to guests and their families.
