We are excited to welcome Two Michelin-Starred Chef Takagi Kazuo to Lord Jim's Restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok for a series of exclusive meals in February. For lunch, he will create a special sushi and sashimi menu and Buffet Lunch at THB 1,800++ (THB 2,119 net) on Monday-Friday and THB 2,500++ (THB 2,943 net) on Saturday and Sunday per person. For dinner, Chef Takagi will present extraordinary 5-course menus at THB 3,200++ (THB 3,767 net) and 7-course degustation menus at THB 3,900++ (THB 4,591 net) per person from 21-25 February 2561.
Chef Takagi is the owner-chef of Kyoto Cuisine Takagi, which has held 2 Michelin stars since 2010. The restaurant is located in Ashiya, Japan between Osaka and Kobe. A renowned master of the super-refined Kyoto style of Japanese cuisine known as 'Kyo-ryori', Chef Takagi is committed to serving authentic Japanese delicacies while continually honing his craft, conveying through his creations a new way to look at the world.
His cuisine reflects the seasons and tells cultural tales. His exquisite, mouth-watering soups are symbolic of his cooking style: composed, delicate and illustrative. He believes the taste and aroma of a soup characterizes one's culinary style and defines a restaurant's personality.
