Cafe Claire at Oriental Residence Bangkok offers a truly unique dining experience in a French-Bistro ambience that will take you on a culinary voyage you could not imagine.
Chef Bernard Ibanez is our new chef who draws upon his French, Spanish and Italian family heritage to create inspired dishes. His passion for food was nurtured in his early years in the kitchens of his mother and grandmother. Bernard has worked his way up. Since studying at l'Ecole Hoteliere de Paris, he has worked in different restaurants in Paris including Cafe de la Paix (Michelin-Star Restaurant), Hotel Westminster and many more. Building his career in France, he became Chef Owner of "Le Serpolet", a small fine dining establishment in Bordeaux. He also trained in such prestigious places such as Auguste Escoffier School, Lenotre pastry shop, Jacques Chibois restaurant (2-Michelin-Star Restaurant) in Cannes before flying abroad towards new adventures.
The exclusive Chef's Table includes Warm Saucisson Lyonnais, Warm Fingerling Potato Salad with Chives and Shallots, Dijon Mustard; Chestnut Soup with Seared Foie Gras; Braised Beef Cheeks Bourguignon Style, Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables or Poached Skate Wings in a Capers, Lemon and Croutons Brown Butter Sauce; Warm Goat Cheese with Pear and Locally Harvested Honey from Plan BEE Rural Beekeeping Project; Grandmother's Rice Pudding, Vanilla "Bourbon" Creme Brulee, Chocolate Religieuses.
The five-course set dinner is priced at 2,500 THB per person (food only), exclusive of local taxes and service charge.
