Thailand's MJets is the most favourite business aviation service provider in Asia Pacific for the third consecutive year in a new global rating.
MJets has also moved to the world's top-15 rankings in an annual survey conducted between April 1, 2017 and February 10, 2018 by Aviation International News (AIN), the US-based business aviation publication, among its professional readers.
Out of the maximum scores of five, MJets earned 4.47, compared to 4.34 scored by Sydney's Hawker Pacific and 4.11 by Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre, two other leading performers in Asia Pacific.
"The top rating is a validation of the continuation of our sustainable quality services, the attention to detail which users of our facilities have come to expect from us,'' said MJets executive chairman Jaiyavat Navaraj.
"The stature MJets has earned can also be taken as a pride for Thailand's aviation industry which is still striving for global recognition," he added.
Hard work and dedication of staff is the key to MJets' top rating. "Our facilities are modest but functional, and what really makes the difference is the high quality of human services," he noted.
The AIN survey asked readers, including pilots and dispatchers, to evaluate fixed-base operators (FBOs) they visited the previous year in five categories : line service; passenger amenities; pilot amenities; facilities; and customer service representatives.
It was conducted over those provide FBO services, referring to aeronautical services such as fueling, hangarage, tie-down and parking, aircraft rental, aircraft maintenance and other services for corporate and private air craft.
According to AIN, there are some 4,500 FBOs worldwide with the majority of them are in North America.
In the global scale, MJets stood at 6th position in the AIN 2018 international list outside North America.
The global top-ten FBOs all equally scored 4.69, with nine of them are located in North America. TAG Farnborough Airport emerged as the only non-North American operator to earn those scores.
MJets operates a FBO facility which is billed as the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in Asia at Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport.
In 2017, the volume of private jets handled by MJets at Don Mueang International Airport (VTBD) was increased by 8% comparing to 2016. MJets was founded by leading Bangkok-based business leaders, William Heinecke and Kirit Shah.
