Bangkok--6 Jul--Mind PR T.C.C. Technology Co., Ltd (TCCtech) took part in driving Thailand to digital era by contributing to ICDL Digital Challenge 2018 project under the concept "Building Future Digital Workforce for Thailand 4.0". The activity was hosted at Multifunction Hall, 10th Floor, C asean by International Computer Driving License (ICDL) Thailand the leader in International Standard of Digital Literacy. This project was targeted to encourage the young workforce/talents to have digital capabilities at international level. Mr. Voradis Vinyaratn, Executive Director and Acting Managing Director of T.C.C. Technology Co., Ltd (TCCtech) stated that "TCC Technology, as a private entity, is ready and aims to become a key contributor to develop human capital towards digital literacy. Our objective is to create most benefits for all parties including the personnel competency, organization and society. We realize that any business opportunities, whether in the past, present and future, are shaped by 2 significant factors; technology and workforce. However, typically human resources are sometimes unable to catch up with current advanced and complicated technologies. This challenge has led to insufficiency of market-qualified workforce, especially in the digital era. TCC Technology realizes the importance of people development. We understand that although our country is in the beginning stage of producing Digital Talents to fulfill Digital Workforce Models, the challenge has to be addressed urgently. We need co-operation from all related parties." Digital technology is impacting on workforce requirement, particularly in industries. Many organizations are seeking for skilled resources with digital knowledge and ability while emphasizing on employee development to have creativity, know-how and expertise in digital technology at international level. "I believe that not only organizations and institutions but students are also aware of the technology advancement effect. This stage has reflected youth attitude towards technology challenge as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. ICDL Digital Challenge 2018 can be considered as one of all great stages that urge young generation to aware and be prepared in order to enter real labor market in the digital era. We are honored to be part of the contributors to this digital-driven project." Voradis stated. Miss Kritkanya Karnchirathan, Executive Director of ICDL Thailand additionally mentioned that ICDL Digital Challenge 2018 is one of ICDL activities hosted to encourage organizations to understand the importance of future workforce who are high school and university students, employees and including government agencies and private sectors. All groups are required to collaborate as both government agencies and private sectors are developing staff skills to align with technology adoption as well as searching for new force with digital literacy at global standard. Therefore, if educational institutes could grow and produce future workforce that can address market demand in digital age, it will accelerate the development speed of Thailand 4.0 to become successful in a shorter period. The most important factor to drive this accomplishment is the individual i.e. students, employees and Thai people in general who needs be open-minded to get to know new skills, to welcome changes, to have fun in learning and improving themselves and to leverage existing capabilities since the success of Thailand partly derives from the quality of human resources; the fundamental infrastructure of the country. "In the digital world, technology has penetrated in every dimensions such as in daily life, in working and business environment, and in many interactions. It could facilitate a better living, business expansion and competitiveness and increasing of productivity, revenues and profits. Thailand will become a digital country with prosperity, sustainability and stability. However, these beneficial aspects will not happen unless people possess sufficient digital technology skills. At the same time, rapid technology approach can be compared to a non-stop tsunami attack on unskillful technology amateurs, and it can become damage towards individuals, organizations and the nation. It is undeniable that we cannot ignore or neglect digital literacy development. We need to understand that human resource is an essential infrastructure of the country. Fundamental digital skill improvement for all Thai people is necessary and requires prompt and proper action as same as equipping our resource with efficient arms. In order to accomplish this goal, cooperation from all units; government, educational institute, private sector and each individual, is considerable." stated Kritkanya Karnchirathan.
