Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok's restaurants – NEXT2 Cafe, Salathip Thai Restaurant and Shang Palace Chinese Restaurant – recently received dining recognition from Bangkok Best Dining & Entertainment Magazine at the 20th Bangkok's Best Restaurant Awards 2018 held at Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok on 11 June 2018.
NEXT2 Cafe was awarded Bangkok's Best Restaurant in the buffet category, which was voted by the magazine's editors, making it the restaurant's fifth consecutive year to receive such recognition. NEXT2 Cafe has long been recognised as one of Bangkok's most exciting buffet restaurants by the Chao Phraya River. It offers a myriad of local and international cuisines. Guests get to watch the chefs in action as they whip up sumptuous dishes and selecting their preferred dishes from the restaurant's interactive cooking stations.
Shang Palace received the prestigious "Editor's Choice" award in the Chinese category. Shang Palace has gained local and international referrals for its combination of authentic Cantonese cuisine, dim sum selection and the culinary passion of Executive Chinese Chef Chow Wai Man and his team. Being recognised as the finest Chinese restaurant at Bangkok's Best Restaurant Awards for the fourth consecutive year shows that the restaurant is committed in providing the best dining experience.
Salathip is honoured to be recognised in the Thai Culinary category for the first time by Bangkok's Best Restaurant Awards 2018. Salathip provides our guests an authentic dining experience with creative presentation from our talented culinary team, led by Thai Chef de Cuisine Yanavit Theerasomboonkun and his team in classic Siamese surroundings. The restaurant consists of a cluster of three Thai-style teak pavilions set in a garden next to the Chao Phraya River.
