Toshiba today announced the appointment of SVOA Public Company Limited as Toshiba authorized distributor for the full range of enterprise mobile computing. SVOA Public Company Limited will distribute full range of Toshiba enterprise-class laptops. Toshiba also appointed ASYS Computer Company Limited, a subsidiary of SVOA Public Company Limited, as its new authorized service provider in Thailand to provide comprehensive after sale service and local support for full range of Toshiba enterprise mobile computing devices. Toshiba also launched the new X-Series (E-Generation) devices offering professional performance and durability, designed to support users on the move.
The enterprise-class laptops from Toshiba are the new Portege X20W, the world's thinnest and lightest convertible laptop to utilize full power Intel processor, the Portege X30, the ultra sleek laptop with type-C(TM) Gen-2 port (supporting Thunderbolt(TM)3, the high quality and award-winning Portege Z series and Tecra series, designed and manufactured in Toshiba's wholly-owned facilities.
The move signals Toshiba's commitment to meet the increasing demands of enterprise customers in Thailand and offers them a holistic mobile computing experience. Toshiba also announced the new X-Series (E-Generation) devices offering professional performance and durability, designed to support users on the move. Toshiba's latest professional range has undergone a technical refresh to maximize performance and make devices more efficient by offering a high performance of up to an 8th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processor. The new devices launching today are the TECRA X40-E, Portege X30-E, and Portege X20W-E.

The new E-Generation range is elegantly designed for long-lasting versatility, durability and interior performance. For example, the Portege X30-E is equipped with a non-reflective touchscreen and brand new In-Cell Touch technology that enables professionals to navigate and interact with content without compromising the design or display of the device. With up to 8th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processors, DDR4 (2400MHz) RAM and come complete with a new 1TB PCIe SSD, the X series offering incredible power and performance.

The E-Generation range is designed to protect businesses' data with advanced security features built in. Features including a touchpad with an in-built fingerprint reader called SecurePad(TM) are available in all of the new Portege and TECRA devices. In addition to this, an optional IR-camera for face authentication through Windows Hello or Intel(R) Authenticate is available. With Toshiba's own built-in BIOS and TPM 2.0 encryption, users are further assured that the risk of third party interference which could leave a product more vulnerable to attacks is significantly reduced.
To help business users keep connected and operate efficiently wherever they are, the X-series has advanced connectivity capabilities, including compatibility with a range of dongles for different usage scenarios. To maximize usability, the laptops are designed to be used with a new optional Thunderbolt 3 Dock2 which provides power, enables data transfers and a display port as well as host a range of modern ports to enable flexible, mobile working. This includes USB Type-C(TM) 3 a full size USB3.0 and HDMI port, as well as a microSD Card Slot.

Within their sleek designs, the new range provides professionals with powerful and robust machines which enable them to work throughout the day due to impressive battery life. The X-series units offer an ultra-light design with the Portege X20W-E being 15.4mm wide and weighing just 1.1kg1, whilst the 15.9mm Portege X30-E weighs only 1.05kg1, and the TECRA X40-E is just 16.9mm thin and weighs in 1.25kg1.
These units also come with a sleek magnesium chassis, complete with honeycomb design for enhanced device strength and security.
