Kongju Korean Restaurant opened its doors in the same month and year that the Pathumwan Princess Hotel was established as Bangkok's most convenient hotel. Thus, both will be sharing their 22nd Anniversary this September, and Kongju is celebrating this momentous occasion with its special Royal Cuisine Set Menu.
Throughout September the award-winning restaurant will offer a wide selection of its most popular dishes in a tasting menu for 2 people - small dishes that give a real taste of Korea. Traditional, authentic delights include Jak Juk (pine nut porridge); Goo Jeol Pan (assortment of nine cold appetizers); Geot Jeo Ri (Korean salad); Woo Eoung Chap Chai (stir-fried noodles); TTok Kal Bee (grilled minced beef or pork and mushrooms with soy sauce); Modeum Jeon (assorted pan-fried delicacies) Bulgogi (sliced and seasoned barbequed beef or pork) Jan Chi Gook Soo (hot noodles with vegetables). There is also a selection of side dishes, and to finish, the famous Korean dessert, Kyung Dan Kwa O Mi Ja Hwachae, a Korean rice cake with omija punch.
This wonderful Royal Cuisine feast is ideal for aficionados and newcomers alike, and is available throughout the month for THB 922 nett for two people.
