At Fortinet's annual regional 361o Security Symposium organized in Bangkok, Chanvith Iddhivadhana, Thailand's country manager revealed findings from Fortinet's 2018 Security Implications of Digital Transformation Survey with top CISOs around the world, Ninety-two percent of survey respondents said that digital transformation is the most impactful IT trend on businesses today, while 85% of respondents said security is the biggest challenge to digital transformation. Iddhivadhana suggested that to succeed at digital transformation, enterprises consider a Security Fabric approach, where IT tools and processes are integrated across all parts of the network in addressing advanced threats such as rising polymorphic attacks and new vulnerabilities from the organizations' Development and Operation activities. At the symposium, Fortinet also launched its new FortiProxy secure web gateway and FortiGate SD-WAN next-gen firewall. The latter received a "Recommended" rating from NSS Labs' 2018 SD-WAN group tests, and can effectively address the Thai market's needs.
