Bangkok--1 Oct--Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road
Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road invites diners to come celebrate Thailand's Vegetarian Festival at Metro On Wireless. From 8-17 October 2018, Metro's Chef Jimmy has created menus of vegetarian Thai dishes that will tantalize the taste buds for a set lunch or an a la carte dinner.
Thai cuisine is an international favorite and a major draw for visitors to the Land of Smiles. And while vegetarian options are available all year round, the Vegetarian Festival is a special time of year when meatless meals are the delicious center attraction. Traditionally, this is a nine-day period of spiritual cleansing observed by the Thai-Chinese community, during which a strict vegetarian diet is followed.
Chef Jimmy at Metro On Wireless is taking this opportunity to showcase how tasty Thai vegetarian food can be. Metro's menu for 8-17 October features such delights as spicy papaya salad, rice noodles with bean curd curry, and assorted mushrooms stir fried in chilis and basil. The Vegetarian Festival is also known for mouthwatering meat substitutes, which Chef Jimmy has crafted into many Thai favorites. like hot and sour seabass soup, green curry with chicken, pomelo salad with prawns, cashews, and pineapple.
From 11.30 am to 5.00 pm, Metro On Wireless is offering a choice of appetizer or dessert, soup or salad, main course, and beverage starting from just THB 189++. From 5.00 pm to 10.30 pm, the vegetarian menu will be offered a la carte.
