The SOC report (ISAE3402) guarantees NTT Com's internal control and audits towards physical control of customer's information processing resided on its data center.
NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd, the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group (TYO: 9432), granted Service Organization Control (SOC) report in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagement 3402: Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organization" (ISAE3402), to be shared with our customer and customer's auditor for the auditing of their financial statement purpose, and assuring NTT Com's internal controls' policies and procedures operating effectiveness on delivering security environment to customer in its Bangkok 2 Data Center. Moreover, NTT Com is the first and sole data center in Thailand who achieved SOC audits.
Mr. Kriengsak Charoonsrisawat, Senior Vice President, Data Center Business Department, NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said granting SOC report from PWC, the world's trusted audit firm in finance, cyber security and corporate confidential information, ensures the company's commitment in delivering high quality services and assuring customers data is protected, building trust between service providers and user organizations.
Service Organization Control (SOC) Reports are independent third-party examination reports that demonstrate how NTT Com achieves key compliance controls and objectives. The purpose of these reports is to help customer and customer auditors understand NTT Com's controls established to support operations and compliance.
SOC report was designed to report on the controls of service organizations, to critical aspects of our data center, physical security, incident management, IT system availability, as well as customer confidential information. Organizations, especially banking and finance institutions, and insurance companies can ensure that processed information or IT operations will be secured with us.
