Alan Walker, Anne-Marie, Eric Nam, Slot Machine and Wonderframe rocked the stage and gave Spotify Users a Night to Remember
Saturday, 20 October 2018, was definitely a night to remember. Spotify On Stage, Spotify's premier live concert saw at least 3,000 music lovers come together to celebrate and discover the splendour of music.
As a brand that is committed to the music industry, Spotify features music from every genre, region and generation alongside music from all over the world. With Spotify On Stage, we see concept of music has no borders come to live, from our very homegrown superstar to international acts, it was a special treat to all music lovers gathered.
The Performances
Held at the Centerpoint Studio, Bangkok, the evening started with Slot Machine taking the stage. They were definitely on fire as they got everyone on their feet. They rocked the stage by performing songs such as Yesterday, Kloem and Chan Chao. They definitely set the mood for the evening!
Slot Machine certainly set the bar high with their performance. They got everyone jumping and rocking out to their hits.
Keeping the excitement going, the crowd was greeted by Wonderframe. The homegrown artist got everyone singing in unison while she performed her hit songs Ouu Na Na, Breath, 555 (ToT) and Line. It is obvious that she has captured the heart of Bangkok.
Wonderframe connected with the crowd. She truly owned the stage.
The crowd went wild when Eric Nam took the stage. Although it was his first time performing in Bangkok, Eric definitely proved to Bangkok why he is often referred to as "Korea's Bruno Mars meets Justin Timberlake". It was definitely a sight to behold, watching everyone have so much of fun. During his performance, Eric covered hits such as Potion, Perhaps Love, and Honestly.
The crowd went wild when Eric Nam came one stage. From the songs to the dance moves, he had everyone grooving.
Anne-Marie was up next, and this superstar carried on the excitement of the evening effortlessly. She got everyone to join in and sing some of her favourite hits including Rockabye, 2002 and Ciao Adios. It was definitely a moment to behold, hearing the crowd sing in unison, especially when she performed FRIENDS.
Anne-Marie got everyone singing to her songs. She especially got the crowd excited when she greeted and thanked everyone in Thai.
Alan Walker came on next and rocked the stage. His 45 minutes long performance got everyone grooving and jumping in together. From hits after hits, he got everyone dancing to Faded, Darkside and Diamond Heart. He also brought on stage Julie Bergan for Ignite and All Falls Down.
Alan Walker definitely took the show home, as his performance was truly exhilarating. It was the best way to end the night.
It was certainly a performance to remember; the lights, and music truly captured the essence of Spotify On Stage.
