Prudential invites cyclists on an unforgettable ride through 12 must-visit destinations in Bangsaen with “PRUcycle Thailand”

Bangkok--6 Nov--Spark Communications Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited ("Prudential Thailand"), join hands with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and Saensuk City, Chonburi Province to welcome all cyclists to the upcoming "PRUcycle Thailand," the biggest cycling festival in the country on the beaches of Bang Saen during 1 – 2 December 2018. Whether you are a professional cyclist, an exercise lover, or just looking to have good time, PRUcycle Thailand is the perfect festival for you. All cyclists will get to enjoy a scenic cycling route through 12 key attractions in Chonburi province, along with a special mini concert from Thailand's hottest pop group, BNK48, and other fun activities. In addition, the festival also holds the highest cash prize in the country, as well as a chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to join the world's premier cycling festival Prudential RideLondon in England. Mr. Aman Chowla, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Thailand, said: "We are extremely honored to be working alongside the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and Saensuk City, Chonburi Province to organize Thailand's biggest festival of cycling, PRUcycle Thailand. This mega phenomenon will be the first cycling festival in Thailand for all ages that give Thais a platform to take better care of their heaths, as well as fostering closeness in the community." PRUcycle Thailand is divided into two cycling categories, starting with Fun Ride that covers a distance of 25.5km on 1 December 2018 together with a special mini concert featuring BNK48 and ETC, along with various shops and restaurants that adorn the Bang Saen Walking Street. Another category is the Professional Ride, with a distance of 100km on 2 December 2018 that passes through 12 scenic routes along the beaches of Bang Saen. The Fun Ride will cover a distance of 25.5 kilometers. Participants in the family category, fancy costume category and big groups will begin their journey from the Bang Saen Walking Street(Laem Taen), before making way to Najasaataichue Chinese Temple, a symbol of faith and prosperity of the local people for over 20 years. Next up, cyclists will head to the popular Ang Sila Graffiti Wall to take a hip snapshot for memories sake, before moving onto Khao Lam Roadwhere the Songkran Festival is held every year. Last but not least, cyclists will make way back toBang Saen beach to watch the beautiful sunset, before cycling leisurely to the Bang Saen Circlefinish line. The Professional Ride will cover a distance of 100 kilometers, starting at the Bang Saen WalkingStreet (Laem Taen), before departing uphill on Khao Sam Muk, the symbol of Bang Saen province where the monkeys reside. Then cyclists will head to Ang Sila Old Market to see the renowned Thai Granite mortar and pestle (Krok Hin), before cycling past the Chon Buri City Hallon to the 84th Anniversary Bridge that covers a scenic route of over 17 kilometers along the Chon Buri Ocean. Next up, cyclists will head to Najasaataichue Chinese Temple, before entering Khao Lam Road and making a pit stop at Mountain Shadow Golf Club and Bangpra Golf Club, Chonburi's popular golf havens. On the last leg of the route, cyclists will head past Bang Phra Reservoir to breathe in the fresh air and beautiful natural scenery, before heading back to Bang Saen Circle and onto the finish line at Bang Saen beach. Most importantly, the winner of the Professional Ride will receive a special prize from Prudential Thailand, with a chance to participate in Prudential RideLondon, the world's biggest festival of cycling with an all-expense paid accommodation and return ticket from Bangkok-London.
