On November 22nd 2018, the Kingdom of Thailand will come together in celebration of the festival of lights – Loy Krathong. Typically held under the full moon of the Twelth lunar month in November, Loy Krathong marks the ancient tradition of honoring the goddess of the river with an ornate lotus shaped "Krathong", floated on the current to wash away sins and make wishes for the coming year.
Giving thanks to the river goddess is an old and beautiful tradition here in Thailand, and we invite you to come and experience this first hand. Perfect for families and couples to enjoy, we begin with lighting candles around the resort before dining on an exquisite Thai buffet crafted by Chef Mama Du. The evening continues with the ceremonial offering of our Krathong's set to the most elegant of backgrounds that of traditional Thai dance.
Celebrate this beautiful festival with us in style at Ta Krai Restaurant from 6:30 pm onwards. The essentials (dinner, show, krathong) are all included in our celebratory price of 1,400 THB NET per person, with children between 6-12 at half price. What's more, there is even a krathong making worship for the little ones between 10am – 2pm in the kids club.
