The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC), Thai Listed Companies Association and Thaipat Institute jointly granted Sustainability Report Awards 2018 (Excellent Award) to Charoen Pokphand Foods Company Limited (CPF) reflecting the company's strong intention to improve and develop its practices on sustainability report that further disclose information on social responsibility to ensure sustainable growth.
Mr.Sutee Smudraprabhud, Assistant Vice President - Responsibility and Sustainability Development of CPF, said the award has been granted to the company for the 6th year which stemmed its strong effort to completely disclose information on environment social and economy throughout the Sustainable Development standard. Moreover, it also adjust its presentation to serve with stakeholder's recognitions.
"CPF operates business under the '3-Pillar to Sustainability' strategies including food security, self-sufficiency society and balance of nature throughout corporate good governance principle to ensure transparency and clear inspection," said Mr.Sutee.
This year, CPF is one of 100 Thai companies applied for the award, in which has clear objectives to upgrade the way to make sustainability report of listed companies not only in the SET but also in Market for Alternative Investment as well as non-listed firms. It draws to encourage those companies to concern more on quality and content are complied with SET's regulations.
