The season of festivities in Hua Hin recently kicked off with one of the best Christmas tree Lighting Ceremony at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin on December 11, 2018 at the hotel's award-winning topiary garden as part of its annual tradition to ring in the holiday season.
One of the city's most iconic places, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin welcomed the festive season in grand style with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, complete with indulgent treats, festive refreshments, and traditional carols performed live by Bangkok's famed classical choir from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
Well-attended by many familiar members of Hua Hin's society plus hotel's distinguished guests, the evening was celebrated as guests joined in the countdown to the switching-on of the first lights at the legendary "Khun Chokedee", the hotel's symbolic elephant-shaped topiary. Gold, white and glittering, Centara Grand Hua Hin exterior has been transformed into a magical wonderland, featuring twinkling fairy lights all around the hotel.
As always, Centara Grand Hua Hin continued its tradition of giving supports to Hua Hin's local community. Underprivileged children from five municipal schools were invited to the event as guests joined in the wishing-Tree donation by sponsoring their educations and necessities and support a child's expenses.
