HSBC recently hosted a cocktail reception for customers, business partners and other guests at the Residence of The British Ambassador to Thailand to celebrate HSBC's 130th anniversary in Thailand. HSBC is the first commercial bank in Thailand founded in 1888 and has a proud history of issuing the first banknotes in the country and supporting the first Royal Siamese government foreign loan for the Kingdom's railway construction.
