The Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation (GTAEF) together with Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort celebrated Thai National Elephant Day to honour and raise public awareness about the preservation and conservation of the Thailand's national animal. The full day of activities included a series of elephant-centred events providing an opportunity for children and adults to interact with the elephants in their natural environment. The event started off with a traditional elephant blessing ceremony by Thailand's last elephant spirit men, a fruit buffet for elephants, followed by elephant learning activities including, environmental educational talks and elephant osteopathy demonstrations.
